The Ring is an American boxing magazine that was first published in 1922 as a boxing and wrestling magazine. As the legitimacy of professional wrestling came more into question, The Ring shifted to becoming just a boxing oriented publication.

The earlier issues from the 30s and 40s feature very attractive cover art of the top fighters of the period. By the 1960s it has begun to use photos more frequently on the covers, with the most collectable being of Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali).
