Vogue is a fashion and lifestyle magazine published in several countries around the world by Conde Nast. It is widely considered one of the most influential fashion magazines in the world.

American Vogue celebrated the magazine's 114th anniversary in 2006. British Vogue began in 1916. While British Vogue is more trend and fashion orientated, American Vogue regularly included more sophisticated cultural and political features in addition to its fashion layouts. The magazine has been occasionally criticized for its tendency to focus on social elites in its features over average women with notable accomplishments.

Noted for its quality photo spreads and covers Vogue has featured the talents of such artists and photographers as: Cecil Beaton, Benito, Pierre Brissaud, Horst P. Horst, George Plank, Harriet Meserole, Lepape, Lee Miller, Annie Leibovitz, Norman Parkinson and David Bailey.

Conde Nast also began a men's fashion equivalent in the sixties called Men In Vogue, however this only appeared occasionally until the early 1980s. It was revived as Men's Vogue in 2005.

The current editor-in-chief of the American edition of Vogue is Anna Wintour. During her tenure as editor, the magazine continues to be the best selling fashion magazine in the United States. Wintour is noted for her trademark bob and her practice of wearing sunglasses indoors. Her presence at fashion shows is often taken as an indicator of the designer's profile within the industry. Previous Vogue editors include Diana Vreeland and Millicent Fenwick, who later became a United States Congressional Representative from New Jersey.
